These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GWIA mobile application operated by gwia.app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use GWIA.
You must be at least 18 years old to use GWIA. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older. If we discover that you are under 18, we will immediately terminate your account and delete all associated data. We take this seriously. GWIA involves strangers evaluating photos of people. This is an adult platform. No exceptions.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to: • Provide accurate information during profile setup • Not share your account with others • Notify us immediately at legal@gwia.app if you suspect unauthorized access We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice.
You may only upload photos of yourself. By uploading a photo, you confirm that: • You are the person in the photo • You are 18 or older at the time the photo was taken • You own the photo or have the right to use it • The photo does not contain other identifiable people without their consent • The photo does not contain nudity, sexual content, violence, or illegal material You may not upload photos of other people without their explicit consent. Doing so may result in immediate account termination and may expose you to legal liability.
You agree not to: • Attempt to identify, locate, or contact other users based on their anonymous photos • Use the app to harass, stalk, or harm any individual • Upload photos containing hate symbols, extremist content, or content that incites violence • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the app • Create multiple accounts to manipulate evaluation results • Use automated tools or bots to submit evaluations • Attempt to circumvent the 18+ age requirement • Upload photos that are not of yourself Violations may result in immediate termination and may be reported to relevant authorities.
GWIA is designed as a structured evaluation platform. There are no open comment fields, no direct messages, and no social following features. Evaluators answer only predefined multiple-choice questions and sliders. This is by design. Any attempt to use the platform as a communication channel violates these Terms.
When you upload a photo, you grant gwia.app a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to: • Store your photo on our servers • Display your photo anonymously to other GWIA users for evaluation purposes • Generate aggregated, anonymized statistics from evaluation responses This license is limited to operating the GWIA service. We will never: • Sell your photos to third parties • Use your photos in advertising without your explicit consent • Share identifiable photos publicly • Use your photos to train AI models without explicit separate consent Your license to us ends when you delete the photo or your account.
Evaluation results (perceived age, style ratings, mood votes, etc.) are provided for personal insight and entertainment purposes only. They reflect the opinions of anonymous users. They are not professional assessments and should not be relied upon for any important personal, medical, psychological, or professional decisions. We are not responsible for any emotional distress arising from evaluation results. If you find evaluation results distressing, you can delete your photos or your account at any time.
Points and badges are in-app rewards with no monetary value unless we explicitly introduce a redemption system (which we will announce separately). We reserve the right to adjust, reset, or modify the points system at any time. Points are non-transferable and non-refundable.
You may delete your account at any time from the app settings. Upon deletion, all your photos, profile data, and evaluation history will be permanently deleted within 30 days. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in conduct harmful to other users, or if we are required to do so by law. We will provide notice where possible but reserve the right to act immediately in cases of serious violations.
GWIA is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that: • The app will be available at all times • Evaluation results will be accurate or representative • The app will be free from errors or security vulnerabilities To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, gwia.app disclaims all warranties, express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, gwia.app is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of GWIA, including but not limited to emotional distress, reputation concerns, or data loss. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of GWIA will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim (if any).
These Terms are governed by Turkish law. For users in the European Union, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence also apply. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to the competent courts of Turkey or, for EU users, the courts of your country of residence.
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
